Sometimes it's good, going to a doctor who's known me since I was two, because I went to under-three and three-to-five daycare with his daughter. It means he can say about the mole on my collarbone, "yeah, I think I remember that one from the Tillicum days" -- as in, that mole's been there since I was three or four, and hasn't really changed, so if we're going to worry about my moles let's be more worried about the weirdly-shaped mole on my hip.

On the subject of moles, while I do have quite a few and some are funny-looking, none do appear to be cancerous, which is a good thing. I'm glad I finally went to the doctor about them, though.

Wednesday was moderately productive, in the YP realm I finished the seating plan and sent the member list to the head clerk so he could start work on the address list. That was around lunchtime. That evening I got an email from a member saying she can't make it to Session. It was quite the Alanis-ironic moment. It also meant that I spent the two hours after getting home from Guides that evening dealing with Registrar stuff instead of hanging out with Richard and decorating our tree.

Worse yet, this morning (well, it came last night after I went to bed, and I read it this morning) I got an email from the replacement I pulled from the waiting list, saying that she can't actually make it after all. Good thing I hadn't actually mailed her acceptance package yet (just emailed soft copies of everything). It does mean, however, yet another re-do and re-send of the seating plan and member list today, after I try and get a hold of the next person on the waiting list.

Also this morning, I got a call from the dispatch system that I really did want to take, but my phone glitched up (not just dropped the call, but went totally unresponsive) so I couldn't press buttons to accept it. First time in three years that having a cell rather than a land line for dispatch calls to go to has messed things up for me that badly. Then I checked my email and saw the above, and I was really too annoyed to actually be able to go back to sleep.

Back to good news instead of whining, I saw some old friends last night. Funny how sometimes it doesn't really seem to matter all that much that you haven't seen people in years.
